XYZ Dimensions is a Sydney-based creative design and production studio founded by Hurricane Bestman in 2008, specialising in immersive environments, public art, large-scale spectacle, and experiential design.
Since graduating in 2002, Hurricane has worked across public art, festivals, film, television, broadcast, brand activations, museums, and cultural events. From city-scale installations and immersive festival environments to film sets and touring productions, the studio combines creative direction, technical design, and production leadership to transform ambitious ideas into buildable realities.
The practice is built on the belief that great experiences emerge when creativity and technical resolution are developed together. Every project begins with a concept, yet succeeds through careful planning, documentation, collaboration, fabrication, and delivery.
Today, XYZ Dimensions focuses on Public Art Realisation, Creative Direction & Experiential Design, Technical Design & Construction Documentation, and the delivery of large-scale immersive environments. The studio regularly collaborates with artists, architects, producers, engineers, fabricators, and specialist suppliers to deliver projects that would be difficult for any single discipline to realise alone.
Whether developing a public artwork, a festival stage, a cultural installation, a film set, or a city-wide spectacle, XYZ Dimensions brings together worldbuilding, technical rigour, and practical delivery to create experiences that transform how people engage with space.
